Ashley and Zach

This week I mailed Ashley and Zach's beautiful gold letterpress invitation for their late April wedding.  Ashley chose a 600GSM card which is thicker than most cardstocks and very popular this season.  The heavy cardstock allowed their intials to be letterpressed on the back of the invitations.  Gold ink in letterpress is much different than gold thermography...it is more muted and not so shiny...very classy!  Calligraphy was written in black ink on the envelopes.

Escort cards with menu choices

If you want to offer menu choices to your guests here is a way to convey those choices to the staff at your reception by each guest picking up their own escort card with a ribbon color to indicate their entree choice.  For instance in this October wedding, guests that indicated "Beef" on their rsvp card received a card with a blue ribbon, "Seafood" had an ivory ribbon and "Vegetarian" had a burnt orange ribbon.  Each guest was allowed to choose their seat at their assigned table.  Also featured is Pam and Kevin's wedding program and napkins.

Loving the letterpress!

A classy letterpress invitation to Jann and Pete's wedding celebration in March was mailed this week.  Jann loves the look of an all block font but we changed the colors to turquoise on their names so they would stand out.  Notice the small monogram at the bottom of the invitation...love it!

Created with love...

The groom's cousin hand-painted this design on the side of Chloe and Will's circle wedding program, placecards and wedding announcements was stunning.  The wedding was held in Grand Cayman beginning of February when everyone in Louisville was stuck in the freezing cold weather.  We wanted to put a touch of Kentucky in the event so we attached the placecards to a horseshoe and the back read "Lucky in Love..."  Congratulations to Chloe and Will!

A special Rehearsal Dinner invite for Jessica and Nick

Rehearsal Dinner invitations can be as unique as a wedding invitation especially when a groom's mother designs a special invitation for their event.  This color scheme is navy and beige with the calligraphy on the envelopes done in navy to match.

Letterpress at its best!

This week I mailed the beautiful invitations for Leslie and Eric for their April wedding.  Leslie chose pewter ink for the text and a soft pink for the motifs.  I did the calligraphy in gray ink to match.
